El Metro Staff will visit the City of Laredo Cedar Clinic from 10:00 am till noon on February 13, 2017 to offer route information, gather feedback, and inform the public about El Metro’s most recent route enhancements. In addition, El Metro staff will offer reduced fare identification cards (ID) to eligible elderly and disabled community; ID card has a $2.00 non-refundable cost. The Cedar Clinic is located at 2600 Cedar.
With a that includes over 28 CNG buses El Metro aside from been an environmental friendly mode of transportation, enables Transit commuters to save up to $7,000.00 on vehicle expenses annually.
Local bike enthusiast are reminded to take advantage of El Metro’s 3-bike rack featured on most buses where bikes can be easily mounted to safely transport you to bike trails and the downtown area. El Metro’s Administration encourages residents and visitors to try transit and take advantage of your local public transportation system.
Local agencies, senior homes, and other organizations are encouraged to request a visit from El Metro to provide firsthand information about the benefits of public transportation and to offer fare option to eligible passengers.
