To better service the needs of our customer El Metro will be extending the hours of operation for the Customer Service Department. “In an effort to meet the needs of working individuals and students that otherwise cannot obtain visit the Transit Center during traditional office hours effective December 1, 2017 El Metro’s customer service hours have been extended” said Claudia San Miguel, El Metro’s General Manager. Customer will be able to take advantage of the extended service hours to obtain route information, to pre-purchase tickets for both El Lift vans and El Metro buses, and to obtain Reduce Fare ID applications, or to pick up or drop off El Lift Applications.
The New Hours of Operation are as follows:
- Monday – Friday from 7:30 am to 5:15 pm
- Saturday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
- Sundays Closed
With over 64,000 passengers per week, El Metro’s decision to extend the hours should enable most passengers to obtain route information during non-traditional office hours.
El Metro’s Customer Service can also provide El Lift Paratransit applications and to obtain Reduced Fare Cards for qualified persons. Passengers may also access our bus route information on our website, el metro transit.com or download our new app on their telephone device.
